Implications Of AfCFTA For International Businesses

The AmCham AfCFTA Resource Centre, under the auspices of the American Chamber of Commerce, Ghana, hosts the maiden edition of the AmCham webinar series on AfCFTA.

This first edition titled, Implications of AfCFTA for International Businesses, will host the experienced international economic development professional, Dode Seidu, to break down essential parts of the AfCFTA agreement and provide updates on its implementation, rules of origin, benefits for international businesses, and strategies that will enable U.S. investors and other businesses to fully integrate, partner, and take advantage of the continental trade agreement.

The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement creates the largest free trade area in the world measured by the number of countries participating. The pact is said to connect 1.3 billion people across 55 countries with a combined gross domestic product (GDP) valued at US$3.4 trillion. Register Here
