Our member of the month for October is Medtronic Africa Pty Limited. The company’s mission is to contribute to human welfare by application of biomedical engineering in the research, design, manufacture, and sale of instruments or appliances that alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life. Also, to strive without reserve for the greatest possible reliability and quality in their products; to be the unsurpassed standard of comparison and to be recognized as a company of dedication, honesty, integrity, and service.

Medtronic has a legacy of innovation and unique position as the world’s largest medical technology company which allows them to play a central role in transforming healthcare in South Africa and Sub Saharan Africa. They are also collaborating with new partners in new ways to create new innovations — ones that add both clinical and economic value.
