Priorities for Sustained Investment

AmCham CEO Doris Kafui Afanyedey highlighted three priorities for investment and job creation:

  • Predictable regulation – consistent, transparent rules that support long-term planning and investment.
  • Timely settlement of obligations – prompt payments that protect cash flow, suppliers and investor confidence.
  • Practical local-content timelines – schedules that build Ghanaian capacity while keeping operations viable.

Direct dialogue helps Washington policymakers reflect U.S. business experience in Ghana and reinforces AmCham Ghana’s role as a bridge among businesses and both governments.

Looking Ahead

AmCham Ghana will continue working with the U.S. Embassy, the Government of Ghana and members to improve the business environment and expand bilateral trade and investment.
