U.S.-Ghana Healthcare Roundtable 2024

On Friday, November 1, 2024, on the sidelines of the U.S.-Ghana Healthcare Roundtable 2024, the U.S. Commercial Service of the USEmbassyinGhana, in collaboration with AmCham Ghana, hosted a roundtable discussion on “Advancing Technology in Healthcare Delivery in Ghana” at the U.S. Embassy.

Key healthcare industry leaders, including representatives from the Ghana Health Service, Zipline, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, USAID, University of Ghana Medical Centre LTD, THE BANK HOSPITAL, and the Ghana National Chamber of Pharmacy, engaged in discussions on the regulatory challenges and obstacles impeding improved healthcare delivery in Ghana. Additionally, Jason Hickey, Head of GoogleResearchAIAccra, and Darlington Akogo, Founder of MinoAI, showcased innovative AI-powered products and systems designed to enhance healthcaredelivery in Ghana.
