KEK Donates to Korle Bu Child Oncology Unit

As part of its 35th Anniversary celebrations, KEK Insurance Brokers has donated GHS 40,000 in cash and GHS 10,000 worth of educational supplies to the Korle Bu Child Oncology Unit through Lifeline for Childhood Cancer Ghana (LCCG).

The donation was made during a visit by KEK’s Managing Director, Executive Committee, and staff, who engaged with young patients and toured the unit, including a 40-bed complex currently under construction to boost pediatric oncology care.

This gesture reflects the philanthropic legacy of their late founder Mr. Kwesi Essel-Koomson and their commitment to supporting the vulnerable in the society.

KEK, a signatory to the UN Global Compact, encourages other stakeholders to support the completion of the facility and contribute to improving outcomes for children battling cancer.
