On May 16, 2025, the U.S.-Africa Business Center, under the leadership of President Kendra Gaither and Dr. Guevera Yao, partnered with AmCham Ghana, led by President Kimathi Kuenyehia, and the U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Embassy Ghana Accra to host a U.S.-Africa Business Breakfast Roundtable at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, Accra Ghana.
The event served as a heartfelt farewell and an expression of gratitude to Ambassador Virginia Palmer for her invaluable contributions to the American community in Ghana and her dedicated work in enhancing U.S.-Ghana trade relations and commercial diplomacy. AmCham Ghana Joins Regional Delegation in Abidjan to Strengthen U.S.–West Africa Economic Ties

On Sunday, May 11, 2025, the American Chamber of Commerce Ghana, led by , AmCham Treasurer Mr. Bethel Yeboah, Acting Executive Secretary Jane Okyere-Aduachie, and a member delegation, joined the U.S.-Africa Business Center delegation, which was headed by President Kendra Gaither and Vice President Dr. Guevera Yao. This collaboration included seven West African AmChams: the American Chamber of Commerce in Côte d’Ivoire, the American Business Council Nigeria, the American Chamber of Commerce in Senegal, AMCHAM-MALI, the American Chamber of Commerce in Angola – AmCham – Angola, and the American Chamber of Commerce in Cameroon (AmCham). The event took place at the U.S. Ambassador’s Residence in Abidjan.
Hosted by Ambassador Jessica Davis Bâ, the Welcome Reception brought together an exceptional community of leaders shaping the next chapter of U.S.–West Africa economic relations. From meaningful dialogue to lasting connections, the evening set a powerful tone for the Summit’s next three days of panels, bilateral meetings, and forward-looking collaboration.

AmCham Ghana Engages Black Business Bridge on Empowering African Diaspora Entrepreneurs

Representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce Ghana Secretariat recently met with Nana Fiifi Aggreybuttons and Princessa Aggreybuttons, board directors of the Black Business Bridge, and had fruitful conversations.

AmCham Ghana Engages with the University of Ghana on Strategic Collaboration
